GOVERNANCE, PEACE AND JUSTICE COMMISSION
The Governance Peace and Justice Commission (GPJC) is an institution dedicated to promoting a biblical worldview on governance, justice, and peace. The Commission’s mission is to provide leadership, advocacy, and resources to empower the Church in actively engaging with societal issues, fostering a just and peaceful society while defending faith and civil liberties within a secular and pluralistic environment.
The GPJC is founded on the principles of transparency and accountability, and will endeavour to build and sustain a high level of public trust and confidence.

The following are the objectives of the GPJC:
- To foster a biblical perspective on governance, justice and peace;
- To promote and defend the faith, civil liberties and religious liberties in a secular, pluralistic and progressive environment;
- To establish a national, regional and local response mechanism for the church to actively engage in governance, justice and peace building programs to the end that people live a peaceable, godly and dignified life;
- To provide a multidimensional support system for dynamic leaders and gate keepers by equipping them with tools that enable them to watch over the nation leading to positive and transformative change;
- To promote greater involvement of the church and her membership in good governance, social-economic justice and politics;
- To engage in peace building, mediation and reconciliation within the Church and the society at large;
- To enhance awareness within the church and society of the need for a just and peaceful society
- To train the next generation in all godliness and nurture them to take up responsibilities in the home, the church and the community, as responsible citizens.
Some of the activities under GPJC include the Dynamic Leaders and Gate Keepers Forum which has been running since 2015 and Treasured Possession Camp which targets the youth to inculcate in them a mindset that they are valuable.
